On March 17, 2019, at approximately 7:09 P.M., Gulfport Police and Fire responded to the 9200 block of Cuandet Road to investigate a possible drowning. Upon arrival, emergency personnel recovered an unresponsive female child from a creek located behind the apartment complex property. The child was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The incident is being investigated as accidental.
