On September 25, 2019, at approximately 1:11 am, the Gulfport Police Department responded to the 14000 block of O’Neal Road to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject suffering from gunshot wounds. Inside of the residence, officers located a deceased female who had also been shot.
Initial investigation revealed that the two subjects were acquaintances and had become involved in an altercation. The male subject was transported to an area hospital where his current condition is unknown. No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
